Computer Lab (Ground Floor)

  • We provide internet, software, & email access on over 25 public access terminals or one of our wireless laptops. Chromebooks are also available for use throughout the building for Mississippi Valley Library District cardholders (must present card to check out a Chromebook). You are encouraged to bring in your own wireless compatible laptop to connect to our free, open WiFi.
  • MOBILE PRINTING SERVICE: Print virtually any file or webpage from your Internet-connected device. You can even send us a print job from home or when you're on the go and pick it up within 24 hours.

Ruth Eckart Programming Resource Center (PRC) (Ground Floor)

  • Makerspace - This area in the PRC is equipped with items to help all ages to design special creations and explore new technologies. Available are tubs of kits that can be taken home to experiment with your interests such as soldering irons, makey-makey kits, raspberry pis, squishy circuits, and more.
  • Training Lab - This area in the PRC there are places for 20 participants to train together through the use of technical and projection equipment.
  • Skype / Podcast Rooms - Small rooms on the First Floor and in the PRC for use by one person

Genealogy and Local History (Ground Floor)

  • A specially equipped room in the Library that helps genealogists and people interested in local history find answer about our community.  There are several special collections that are highlighted such as our Lincoln collection expert help available.  Email This email address is being protected from spambots.   • Programming
    History and Genealogy Group of Collinsville (HGCC) meets monthly on the last Thursday of the month. Led by an accomplised genealogist discussing different topics each month
    Takes individual requests for help locally and distant

Florence Burkholder Community Room (Ground Floor)

  • Relax and watch tv, have a cup of coffee, play cards at one of our tables, or just hang out. You are always welcome. Blum House (on the Library Grounds)

  • The Blum House, 414 West Main (adjacent to the Library) can be rented by individuals, organizations and businesses for all type of occasions.
